Last Top 25 of 2010

December 5, 2010

The only downside to September coming and college football starting is that eventually it will end. Saturday as I know it is now over, but we still have Army-Navy next Saturday and then I will watch every single bowl game for the fifth straight year. That should give me about 248 games watched this year + the FCS national championship game will be 249 and crap, it ends there. Everyone who betted me saying I couldn't watch 250 games in one year, you guys win again.

Here are my final college football rankings of 2010, the next edition of rankings will be after it's all over in January.

And after my rankings you get my 2010 College Football Bowl Projections as I try to get right all of the 35 bowl matchups.

And here is a review of my 2010 Upset Picks and how I did. Record: 49-35. My Total 2010 Picks Record: 604-155 with USC and Hawaii pending, both are leading in the first half right now.

2010 Final Regular Season College Football Rankings
1. Auburn 13-0
2. Oregon 12-0
3. Wisconsin 11-1
4. Boise State 11-1
5. TCU 12-0
6. Stanford 11-1
7. Ohio State 11-1
8. Arkansas 10-2
9. Oklahoma 11-2
10. Michigan State 11-1
11. LSU 10-2
12. Virginia Tech 11-2
13. Alabama 9-3
14. Nebraska 10-3
15. Missouri 10-2
16. Oklahoma State 10-2
17. West Virginia 9-3
18. Nevada 12-1
19. Texas A&M 9-3
20. South Carolina 9-4
21. Utah 10-2
22. Mississippi State 8-4
23. Central Florida 10-3
24. Florida State 9-4
25. San Diego State 8-4
25. Connecticut 8-4
Dropped: Arizona, Northern Illinois

These rankings don't matter anymore but I do them based on 1. The Eye Test/Win-Loss Record 2. Body of Work 3. Who can beat who. But right now it's hard for me to distinguish the bottom of the rankings anymore not that it matters. South Carolina should be dropped after today, but they're still so much better than the other teams and I don't believe in Nevada, Utah and UConn is iffy to me because they can beat some of these top-25 teams.
