Final Top 25 of 2009 Season

January 10, 2010

Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide on becoming the 2009 BCS National Champions. The BCS got it right this year, even if there was a playoff, Alabama and Texas most likely would have found their ways to Pasadena. Alabama took care of Florida, Florida finally took care of Cincinnati who should have never even been undefeated, and Boise exposed TCU. It seems like the college football season flew by this year. It's really over. It feels like yesterday that the preseason rankings were out. I've been watching every game I could all year and seeing different teams and evaluating them and putting together my rankings. After 241 seen games this year, I've seen 118 of the 120 FBS teams play at least once, and now I put out my final college football rankings of the 2009 season.

I don't give too much credit to the official rankings and don't see them before I put my rankings together, but included below are in parentheses are the official final season rankings and it's also interesting just to see how things have changed since the Preseason, so I included all the previous rankings too.

My Final Top 25
